This post is going to discuss the demographics and traffic to IWantU.com. Although this post doesn’t show images of hot woman from the site is maybe interesting for you to read the statistics behind IWantU. First off lets talk about the traffic to IWantU. As you can see the chart below in July 2010, the traffic was just over 100,000 visits per month and it has been steadily dropping since then and it’s at roughly 40,000 visitors per month for February 2011. The reason for the drop is anyone’s guess. It could be because the site stop spending money on advertising or maybe its members found a new site, who knows? But the traffic to the site is definitely going downhill.
The second chart below shows the demographics to the site. Demographics basically describe the type of people who visit IWantU.com on a daily basis. As with all online dating sites males always dominate. There’s basically two men for every woman and 70% of the people are male and 30% are female. Most people are over 18 years old, considering it is an adult dating site that is expected obviously. Most visitors to IWantU do not have kids, no surprise there either.
The best biggest ethnic group is Caucasians which make up 82% of the visitors and members on the site, secondly is African-Americans at 9%, and Asians last 2%. When it comes to financial information, it looks as though roughly 60% of the people on the site make over $60,000 per year which is pretty good if you’re looking for a sugar daddy LOL. People with education and people of no education on the site are 50/50 with 49% of the people on the site having no college education and 51% of the people having attended college and for graduate school.
The percentage of site traffic coming from countries is also broken down as you can see from the chart below. The United States comes in at number one with 30.4% of the traffic coming from the USA, secondly is India at 24.5% which I’m kind of surprised. And third is Israel with 6.6% (surprised again) of the numbers or traffic coming from that country.
